What People Are Saying
“I did find the 1:1s to be the most beneficial. I felt like I was able to work with Kaylea to fit the lesson into my role and discuss different challenges that I face in my role and come up with a plan.”

“The 1v1s were beneficial as they were the “therapy sessions” to talk over how to apply the webinars to my own practice.”

“I loved them (the 1:1s). I felt this is where the discussion took place and I felt comfortable asking the tough questions”

“I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this class. We explored the SOAR model and learned how leaders can make a positive impact by understanding their role and staying connected to their purpose. We also discussed what motivates people at work and how small actions and genuine appreciation can make a big difference.”

“My main takeaway during the first session was the importance of motivating our team members through simple but meaningful actions. Something as simple as saying ‘thank you’ can make a big difference in how staff view their contribution to the organization. I put this into action shortly after the session by thanking a team member for her hard work and contributions to a project. I could immediately see that the feedback had a positive effect on her and boosted her morale as we worked through a difficult payer. The first session planted a seed for me, it’s more than just delegating work, and ensuring tasks are complete, but also we need to check in and motivate our team positively.”

“I learned how important it is to know your purpose for the work that you do, and how it does make a real impact on the Team members’ performance and attitude. Always keeping our purpose in mind will also help with motivation and guiding our leadership.”

“I learned how important it is to have a positive attitude and to spread that by sincerely thanking team members regularly for their contributions to projects and daily hard work. So much great information! “

” The importance of communication was discussed within a Team/Organization, especially when you work remotely. A few factors that improve communication include being honest, attentive listening, giving constructive and helpful feedback, making time to check in with others, giving complements that are specific instead of vague, giving empathetic support, asking questions or for guidance when needed instead of hopefully doing a task correctly, being direct and to the point, and letting management know when there is an issue of some kind so it can be resolved. All of these factors are what make us more genuine and kind.

“An important take way I had was, How to Communicate with Care.
Kindness is about offering genuine support, giving specific praise, celebrating others’ wins, truly listening, and being honest. Acting with empathy. It isn’t about making grand promises, being overly nice, or flattering people.
Removing “you” from communication and instead focusing on “what needs to happen” shifts the conversation away from personal demands toward shared goals.”
